Netflix shows: Legendary Video game Diablo coming to Netflix, writer Andrew Cosby confirms



Yes, it isn't a rumor anymore. Diablo is coming to Netflix in the form of an animated series. The Netflix adaptation of the video game will be written by Andrew Cosby.

Andrew Cosby in a tweet has confirmed he is in final phase of discussion with for writing the Diablo series. He will probably be the show-runner too. And much to the relief of Diablo fans, Cosby confirmed the Netflix series will be R rated.

Cosby is the co-founder of Boom!Studios, an award winning comic book publishing firm. He will write the screenplay for the upcoming superhero movie Hellboy: Rise of the Blood, which is a reboot of the Hellboy franchise.

Cosby is also known for co-creating Eureka, a hit TV series on SyFy channel. He is also the producer of 2013 action comedy movie 2 Guns starring Denzel Washington and Mark Wahlberg.

Diablo is an action-role playing video game developed by Blizzard Entertainment.The game was first released on December 31, 1996 and the latest installment is Diablo III: Rise of the Necromancer.
