Instead this is written to share my excitement of starting reading The True History of the Kelly Gang. A review of True History of the Kelly Gang may follow after I finish it. but as of now I can assure that the novel is gonna be a true pleasure. Peter Carey's The True History of the Kelly Gang is the winner the Booker Prize in 2001. Peter Carey was born in 1943 in Australia and lives in New York. He has won Booker prize much before  The True History of the Kelly Gang way back in 1988 for Oscar and Lucinda. Oscar and Lucinda has been made into a film by Gillian Armstrong starring Ralph Fiennes.
